Hofmeister Family Christmas 2012

Grandma reindeer with her little grand-reindeer.
The girls enjoying their ring pops!
Evie showing off her new clip-on earrings - she really thought she was hot stuff. She wore them all night.
Gracie showing off her unicorn earrings - this is such a model pose - ha!
Evie was so excited! She got her Snow White baby doll.
When she opened her up she said,"She's beautiful!"
 Opening presents.
Grandpa and Grandma with the girls.
 Hofmeister family.
 Finally a family picture.
The girls dancing to Christmas tunes.
Piper, Gracie and Evie. These three have such a good time when they get together.
 It was a great Christmas!

Lund Family Christmases 2012

Gracie, Evie, and Colleen making cinnamon rolls and sticky buns for breakfast.
Gracie is getting into playing games -here we are playing pig.
Our competition this year was a sugar cookie theme/scene. This is Hoff's entry - I set it up for him since he was still doing storm work and couldn't do the sleigh.
The girl's helped me pick out my theme of the Grinch.
 Our family picture minus Hoff.
Gracie was really excited over all her gifts this year.
Evie was a better present opener this year and would let me take pictures of her with her gifts.
Then, Santa came and Evie proved that she still is scared to death of Santa.
But brave enough to go and grab a few gifts. She ran away from him after grabbing this!
 Gracie loves Santa.
Papa and Grandma Jo with the Grandkids.
 Lund Family Christmas.
Christmas at Grandma and Grandpa Lunds house.  I got to attend for a couple hours, which I was thankful for - great to see everybody.

Grandpa and Grandma with the girls.
Grandma and Evie looking at the calendar. They got to do crafts with Sheila and had a good time.

Sledding

Second snow of the year brought a blizzard and around 8 inches of snow for us. With all the clean-up, we had a decent size hill of snow that we tried to sled down.
Evie is the queen of the mountain!
It was a lot of fun, but it was difficult climbing up and getting onto the sled.
Gracie has always liked making snow angels - she's a pro at it.
This was Evie first year for doing it on her own.
 My little snow angels...

Ha! Instead of helping get the snow off her face after she fell off the sled, I took pictures to laugh at. Poor girl did not enjoy that.
Gracie getting a ride.  We had to go in after only about 20 minutes of playing outside. It was cold!
Gracie and I went out for round 2 while Evie was taking a nap.  We found a couple better sledding spots.
Gracie kept saying, "Totally" like she was in complete surfer mode. We had so much fun!

Christmas Randems

Decorating Christmas cookies - the sprinkles were very popular!
But at least they were having fun decorating them.  I remember having contests with Colleen and Clint to see who could decorate the prettiest - I don't think any of us ever won they "all were pretty".

Gracie started Sunday school at a church 3 miles west of where we live. Its every other week and a class of 4 girls. Evie just wasn't ready to go yet.  Anyways, they participate with the Lutheran church in Davey and put on a Christmas play.
I just thought she was singing "Away in the Manger" but turns out she was the nativity angel, an ice skater, and a caroler in their little play they put on!

Our first snowman of the year - scrapped together with the tiny bit of snow we had!
Here the girls created their own nativity scene complete with snow covered ground, many farm and safari animals, and a stable made out of a stocking hat!

Just Another Day...

Our days are full of kitty cuddles, bike rides, jokes and laughter, cartoons, lollipops, decorating,
dressing up, makeup, babies, hugs and kisses, hide and seek, barbies, attitudes and chocolate milk.
So many things get done in a day around here, even though, it feels as though I get nothing done.
And with each day, the girls get older and I love them more every day...
And I can't express how much the little things mean the most!
Someday, I won't be cool enough to hang with them anymore, and then I'll remember our ordinary, extremely simple but full of love days.
